“Stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey.”

- Babs Hoffman

I'm first to admit, I hate potholes, and coming from England, I've hit plenty of them.

Nonetheless, I love the quote and think it's a great outlook on any road trip. You have to accept that you will hit potholes along your adventure.

I've hit many, including a car blow up on me, being engulfed in a massive bushfire and a strange bus journey through an earthquake and subsequent tsunami siren warning.

What you'll discover about these 'potholes' is that these are the best bits and the stories that define your travels. If they aren't, I promise they will be the ones you tell the most stories about.

Road trippin' Far Out Travel - Views from the tourist train Kandy to Ella, Sri Lanka
No better thrill than hanging out of the Kandy to Ella train.

What to Expect

Our road trippin' section contains some of the funniest, strangest and often downright stupid trips that we have undertaken.

They include taking an 87-year-old with dodgy bowels around India, a death-defying journey across Thailand, a two-week trip around southern Morocco and an unforgettable helicopter flight over Hawaii.

In truth, these stories, whilst informative, should you be heading to these areas, are just a bit of fun and allow us a bit of creativity for your entertainment. Any questions, I'm sure you'll have plenty - DM us on Instagram.

The Big Four

Whilst our muses and sometimes utterly outrageous and death-defying journeys are some of my favourite blogs, we get that they aren't all that helpful for someone new to backpacking.

Which is why we have got a lot more juicy content for you stashed away without our big four travel categories. Within them, you'll find everything you need to create your own stories of hilarity and make memories you'll want to share.
